Sam supports in the advisory work of the firm, mainly in areas related to public policy and government relations. Sam has more than four decades of experience in international politics and international affairs, mainly in public diplomacy and crisis, mediation, and economic policy. Sam was appointed Ambassador to Bahrain (1986 - 1989) by President Ronald Reagan, and was elected to the Colorado State Senate (1979-1983) and House of Representatives (1975 -1979).  Sam serves on the Peace Corps Presidential Advisory Council (1984) and has received more than fifty awards of honors and appreciation.
