History of Newton Law Group

We provide clients with unique insight at the point where law, business and government meet, giving them a voice, supporting their ambitions and achieving successful outcomes.

We started in 1965 as a boutique law firm and our aim is to remain one. We have grown organically and geographically to become a regional player able to combine and offer local insight, skills and opportunities.

Today, our plan is to continue our growth, mainly in the Middle East, GCC and Africa.

    Newton Law Group expand its operations in Africa to cover Burkina Faso and Mauritania

  • 2016

    Newton law starts its operations in Serbia and Montenegro

  • 2014

    Newton Law Group acquires the Iraqi IP firm Rovan Law.

    Newton Law Group becomes the first international firm to open an office in Hargeisa, Somaliland.

  • 2012

    Newton Law Group opens its South Sudan and Cairo offices.

    Newton Law Group launches its strategic advisory services as well as its consulting services in public policy, IT, finance.

    Newton Law Group enters into a formal association with the Miami-based international law firm Diaz Reus.

    Newton Law Group establishes its corporate recovery services for the GCC with offices and representations in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrein and Kuwait.

    Newton Law Group becomes the official trade name of the firm

    Newton Law Group starts its operations in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region

    Newton and Partners LLC merges with two local firms in Lebanon and Iraq

    The firm opens its first offices.
